Salzburg Cathedral (from above)

Our final route down provided plenty of views of the city below and none more prominent than  Salzburg Cathedral that dominates the view from the fortress. Although an impressive exterior I suspect the view doesn't do much to give away the grandeur inside. After all this is a Baroque city. Everything here suggests power and empire. There's little modesty.
