Final descent

After completing the chains the rest does feel quite relaxed even if there is still a fair amount of rock to pass. And there's no getting away from our sore ankles and feet. The pounding and twisting is relentless. It's been one long geology tour but without the guide. With so much beauty I hunger for someone to explain all these formations. I have to make do with only photographs and memories.

After being spread thinly along the route so far, we now keep together. There's a bit more excitement that we're reaching the end. That we're reaching something stable underfoot.
