God plays Tetris

I get the impression there's two ways in which rocks have filled this canyon: rushing water carrying along whatever happens to be in it's way (even if that's a wall of rock) and descent from the cliff above. An image like this reminds us that gravity still has plenty of work to do to fill in this canyon and we just need to make sure we're not around as it happens.
