Day 3: Natural history

Today was the first day of rain and although it was only very light I thought it would ruin a planned visit to Brooklyn Bridge so instead we got the subway all the way uptown to the American Museum of Natural History. I'm not a huge fan of spending time on holiday indoors in museums but this place completely absorbed our attention. The quality of the exhibits was outstanding and although a load of stuffed animals is nothing knew, here they are done to perfection. They actually made our own Natural History Museum look a little amateurish. Despite our exhaustion and sore feet we continued throughout the four floors.
