Oslo metro

We left the hotel in the morning after having a small lie in and making the most of the huge breakfast buffet including smoothies and heaps of smoked salmon. We even sneaked out a couple of croissants for later. Our first destination today was in the north of Oslo so we had our first experience of the local metro system which, owing to its youth, was pristine and gave a very smooth ride. It was a bit like the DLR when it was new, only with drivers. Thanks to a deal with the hotel we had an Oslo pass and free travel for 4 days - but are only here for one.
