Gooodbye Tallinn

We were very sad to leave Tallinn as we'd both fallen in love with the city, or at least the old town where our hotel was. The town has so much medieval infrastructure still in place and a history rich with so many cultures (that of course all came to take a slice) including the Danish, Germans, Swedish, Russian, Nazis and Soviets. Of all those of course the Nazis took the most and left the least. The Soviets took plenty but also left behind a whole load of concrete. We didn't get to see much, which was surprising but that was because we stayed in the old city where perhaps even the Soviets were charmed
