Astronomical clock
Along the south wall of the cathedral is one of the largest astronomical clocks in the world. It's actually the third astronomical clock after an initial version in the 13th century and later one in the 16th century. The current one is from the 19th century and is apparently exceptionally accurate for indicating leap years and equinoxes. Modern technology can now fit this mechanism on the point of a needle. There's also the usual figurines rotating at various intervals. A crowd is seemingly permanently gathered around waiting for these moment with their cameras and video cameras. This and a huge organ hanging from high up on one side of the cathedral are probably the most distinctive interior features.
