River Alzette

Between the two halves of Luxembourg separated by a cliff also runs a river and alongside and across are numerous paths with stunning panoramas of the old fortifications, bridges, churches and vineyards. You couldn't ask for prettier walk. The cliff edge dominates the scenery when below so it's difficult to get a bad photo.
