Glassware

The museum attached to the cemetery had a load more stunning exhibits like these glass vials and bottles. We saw similar pieces in the Sofia museum of archeology. I was just as stunned as we were now. What beautiful pieces and what great condition. I asked what they might have been used for and apparently the small ones could be used by wives to collect tears to send to their men in battle. Less romantically they could also be used for perfume or olive oil.
