Odeon of Herodes Atticus

So just below the top of the Acropolis, a few more steps from the Parthenon, was this amphitheatre. We arrived about 50 minutes before the performance after eating in a cafe down below and were shocked to find a queue had already formed of man hundreds of people. It was chaos and took maybe 15 minutes before we worked out where to queue. Inside we rushed to the back to get the highest and must central seat. We found it, despite me almost tripping.
