The walk took us through the National Gardens, which were more like a forest and somewhat reminiscent of Central Park in New York but on a much smaller scale. In among the trees and paths was a pond filled with turtles piled on top of each other. An unusual sight. Fallen columns or ancient stones are scattered everywhere, just like Rome.
