The first Parliament

On from the Acropolis we walked across to the Ancient Greek Agora where much of the government was situated. The Acropolis consisting mainly of temples. These ruins are the basic outline of what was once a parliament where representatives from each region would sit formulating laws that the people would eventually vote on. Two and a half thousand years ago! Astonishing!
