Aljafería Palace
The imposing towers of this palace fortress are beautiful. This place was first built in the 11th century so clearly there's been a lot of restoration. After failing to have time in Cintra to see the Moorish castle there, albeit in ruins, I was relived to see one here. But touriyare almost absent as we approach. Zaragoza is not high on a list of destinations. I'm grateful they accepted Katarina's passport as evidence for the student but a little guilt of taking €4 from them. Nevertheless I'm sure they get plenty of EU money here. No doubt I'll be paying that off over the next 50 years.
