Teleferico

And then a 15 minute walk through a long park took us to the base of the Teleferico, the cable car. I was more fascinating at what we could possibly see and at only a few euros return it had to be done. Sadly I have only one out of focus photo of the car itself but the view was quite impressive. Apart from by sky I reckon it's the only way to see the palace in one view. And I'm glad the cathedral still stands over the palace. I river is nothing much to see and I wonder how this city stays hydrated in such a dry climate. I cable car was only about 15 minutes but it took us 3km outside Madrid.
