Mosque
Although there is some information in English, it's limited and most is only Spanish. So sadly there is a lot we couldn't work out or was unclear. There were audio guides but I missed them at the entrance and to be honest I find they intrude. Anyway, from what I understand this mosque has been significantly restored from the Christian period, so not sure what there had remained. In any case it should now be as it was. From the writing we could read and videos it was clear the local government have taken many steps to preserve and restore the Islamic heritage. The palace does look pristine and apparently one of only two of this style and period in Iberia. It's easy to imagine the Moors here bowing in prayer. The whole palace conjures up images and sounds.
