Roman Zaragoza

Of course Zaragoza and indeed Spain was Roman long before it was Muslim or Christian. As we complete the rest of our mile walk we enter near this Roman wall. Although in total disrepair it stands quite proud and still substantial among the modern additions to Zaragoza life. The curves of towers are still very present even if the rest of the structures have long fallen, despite centuries of subsequent invaders. But Rome is just the aperitif in this city of outstanding buildings, unless you count Roman Catholic.
