Black beer
Walking round this huge cathedral basilica (and indeed a second one almost next door) it was time for another rest and we were craving something liquid. I wanted to beer. In Madrid the have what has now become my favourite beer, Mahou. But it's very much like Madrid beer. They don't have it here. So instead I try out a local black beer. I used to love black beer until I progressed on to more standard lagers but this one is quite mild and not too sweet. Quite pleasant. It's a very nice bright cafe with very nice staff. That's always a must. I'd rather pay more and get nice people, although the worse places with miserably salesy staff are often the most expensive. It's almost as if you pay for the bad service. Gladly we've avoided them mostly on this trip.
