(Not so good)bye Lisbon
Our Uber driver was another ex-London resident, this time Kentish Town. Spoke English very well and when I asked why the residents of Lisbon spoke so well he attributed the fluency to the lack of subtitles. That makes sense as everyone has an American accent. The ride was quick and very laid back, like most of Lisbon. The airport entry was quick and security all very friendly, but once inside we were met with a 30 minute delay, almost no shops (for a major European capital) and no air conditioning! Thankfully after 20 minutes the deflated tubes you see in this photo were inflated and the temperature dropped. But I disappointing airport. I have a feeling with recent growth in tourism they've struggled to bit and are undecided about airport expansion, or so the Uber driver suggested.
