Croatian blues
When we left the bar the waterfront had come alive with music and performers and a blues band with female vocals strummed some classic blues tracks. It was a fitting end to our final evening. We watched some few songs and move on to some street dancing. I got myself some apple sorbet and Katarina had some chocolate crepes. We had a slight moment when paying for the pancake. The pancake was handed to us and they asked again for payment, after I'd already handed over money at the start. I said I'd already paid but the woman said she didn't remember. She turned to her husband and he agreed with her. It was only when a local in the queue behind who had noticed what happened then convinced them I had already paid. That was close. And all over a £1.70 pancake! A last night in the slammer would have been unwelcome. Although perhaps I could have called on my mates in Dubrovnik.
