On the buses

Today was our second and last day in Split and we planned to get out of the city and explore some of the surrounding countryside. I don't think either of us were up for one of the many early all day excursions touted in the harbour so we decided to use the local bus routes and make our way to the local Cetina Gorge. I wanted to see two local features and so we started with the gorge. A rather uninterested woman in the tourist office didn't offer us any inspired alternatives but told us where to get the bus. We bought our tickets and joined an almost exclusively local group of passengers on a slow but picturesque drive around the coast.
