Old Town
A single picture couldn't do it justice and with such cramped spaces it was hard to get a decent photo at all. Kotor old town bears little resemblance to Dubrovnik. In Dubrovnik there is a very clear grid structure but here the tiny alleyways are completely random and the buildings are hardly homogeneous. It makes for a very different experience. Not as romantic but more rustic, like you've been transported back in time, except for the tourists and souvenir shops and general bustle of 21st century life. We'd picked up breakfast of a chocolate filled bread and baklava just outside the old town and ate inside by some steps.
