A taste of the Ottoman

While carrying our bags through the cobbles last night it struck me how eastern this place appeared. Once we'd showered and got a better chance to look we felt as though we'd been transported from a medieval theme park to an eastern bazaar. We picked a restaurant almost at random and thankfully we'd changed money on Dubrovnik so we had a few Bosnian marks. Not that we needed it because here everyone takes both the mark and the euro, at a rate of €1=2MK. We ordered something traditional and were very happy with what we got, a plate of meat and veg. And the prices here were a fraction of Dubrovnik.
