Top of the world

This photo belies our physical state. We were exhausted and close to passing out. This was not a journey you were supposed to do in the midday sun. But we made it and the 2.50 euro coke sold by one of the many guys selling on the route up was heavenly. We sat down to cool off and then it was a blitz of photos with 4 cameras and a video camera. It was difficult to take in the view and maybe even times like this you enjoy it more when you're down and have time to reflect on the photos you've taken. Perhaps that's a modern day syndrome. We both recovered and even cooled off. Now was the route back down.
