Good morning and goodbye
Last night the clouds of the last few days all came together in one loud crescendo. It was one of the loudest thunderstorms I can remember and being in a loft room made it all the more ominous. Not that I felt threatened. I think this city would survive anything but a direct meteor impact. But I did disrupt my sleep and meant I haven't yet had a decent night's sleep since we got here. Oh well. But at least the storm left behind a clear blue sky for our last morning. This view from our window will be sad to say goodbye to. We didn't really get enough of it. The proprietor is so nice and even left us a gift bottle of local olive oil. We now have until 2pm to appreciate this old town until we head for the bus station again for the journey to Mostar. Fingers crossed for the border crossing.
