Goodnight Split

We returned to the hotel and packed ready for the journey tomorrow. Our Split adventure is over and now we move on to our final destination, Ljubljana. Split was not entirely what I expected. I knew the Roman Palace dominated the tourist centre but didn't realise how photogenic it would be around or just quite how big the palace complex would be. Sunny seasides wouldn't normally be top of my list but they certainly made tourists feel welcome here where we felt safe at all times. And the prices here were very friendly. Embarrassingly cheap at time, provided you made a small effort to look. After a week together I think we've survived well despite sometimes losing patience with each other. It was nice to get this photo on the boat in the gorge earlier today.
