Call to prayer

Very few of the original mosques survived the war but this one could be heard across the whole town with a call to prayer, the sound of which, mixed with the general appearance and odour really did transport us outside of Europe. There are also plenty of Muslim women tourists in their traditional garb, a sight rarely seen in other tourist cities.
