Split harbour and Riviera

Out of the door our first stop on the way to Diocletian's Palace was the harbour, which was just a few steps away from our apartment. It was quite impressive in daylight and a bit like a playground for the super rich with the expanse of white stone and expensive yachts. Palm trees are commonplace across the whole of this region. The storms have hopefully passed and we were blessed with blue skies but still a cooler 28° with the few clouds.
