Steersman

Our captain, steersman, rudderboy, or whatever they're called, didn't say a word as he calmly guided the boat along the river despite me occasionally thrusting a camera in his face. I suppose they put up with worse. I couldn't help wonder what would happen if we saw something exciting in the water and all rushed to one side. That would be quite a big insurance claim. But I reckon my cameras are worth more than my corpse to the underwriters.
