Omis

The bus journey was an hour until we arrived at Omis, the town that sits on the Adriatic coast at the end of the Cetina Gorge. You are never far from the mountain all along this coast and here was no exception. You can also see why rock climbing is an attraction here as well as rafting and kayaking. Omis itself is very much a tourist seaside resort with the usual excursion touts, souvenir shops and cafés. But then the gorge is what makes it so special here.
