Day 14 Thursday: The Daily Sunrise

The sunrise is now a daily ritual. It's almost identical every morning. At first there's little to the shape of the moutains ahead, just a faint rim as the sun nears. Then an outline as the sky warms and each moutain is bathed in a distinct shade and perspective. Quickly the grass, now a golden sheen, is broken up by strong shadows. The whole transformation takes a few minutes and a few more before it's all gone, but no less majestic.
