Getting on

OK getting on was probably the easiest of all the parts.of horse riding. Like an astronaut stepping into an Apollo rocket. This photo is deceiving. At least to those with no experience of horse riding. You might think there's just an innocent picture of some guy relaxing on horseback scanning his messages before heading out for a day of cowboying. You'd be wrong. There's a guy clenching his thighs and buttocks so hard you probably could have turned that horse upside down and still I would have stayed put and be holding that phone. It didn't help that my feet were knackered still from our long hike a few days back and I couldn't comfortably stand in the stirrups.
