Sandboarding 101
But we weren't out at the sands again purely for the view. We were here with snowboards to ride down the hills like it was the Alps. Well not quite. It was tough going and you had to wax the board for a good few minutes before each run or it won't move at all. But once you get it going it is just about manageable.
Katarina goes a couple of times and build up quite a speed, chased closely behind by Bella who does her best to ruin each attempt. But sand isn't snow. It doesn't just wash over you. It sticks to you, gets in your eyes and even up your nose. It gets everywhere and stays. You don't want to fall. But fall you must.
