Under the microscope

We finish off the afternoon taking out the microscopes to inspect some poo and identify the animals in the diets of each sample. It's fascinating to see how much you can learn from these finds. You have the location, the time period, the carnivore and the prey. And maybe the health and age even of each. It all adds important information to the monitoring of hyenas and even the game.
