Angus

With the cheetah feeding over we drive on to what they describe as the best view of the sunset around here. We pick up Angus on route, who is happy to sit in the front with Caroline. At our destination, as ever, he doesn't stay still for long. His breed is one common to southern Africa (the Africanis) and I read they often follow the Bushmen of the Kalahari, where they are not loved as pets as much as just tolerated and occasionally treated. From Angus's jumpy behaviour, you get the impression he may not have had a happy history. But with us he's clearly enjoying himself and most evenings he can become the centre of our attention.
