The cliffs of Naukluft

This is the view back while we trek down to the valley. In the satellite shot you can see the small hearts of our trip yesterday with the valley in the bottom right. But looking back, north west, we see the cliffs that surround the huge Naukluft mountains which border a huge national park reknowned for it's zebra and leopards. These cliffs, formed from sediment layed 600 million years ago, dominate our view whereever we go. We plan to walk up part later in the week. Between the Naukluft and us are a range of smaller circular mountains which also seem to reappear in many shots.
