Getting to know each other
After the game count we had a rest before a supper of lasagne. Unfortunately for us lactose intolerants it was just the beef mince with some vegetables. But it wasn't bad at all. In one photo here you'll see a bird that came to visit every time we ate. It sat on the door handle and tapped away for about 5-10 minutes. At every meal. Bizarre. As the sun set we returned to the dining area (which was also the largest communal space indoors) and spent a few hours chatting together. In just two days we feel like we've known each other for weeks. It's a good (small) group. Eventually we must return in the dark, lit by our phones, to our tents. And again I am treated to a night of tent cat.
