Bags for breakfast

We went down for breakfast at 7.15am with our bags and they allowed us in to eat before the normal opening time of 7.30am. I couldn't eat much but some scrambled eggs and a sausage took away the excess sweet of the biscuits. I went to checkout and the guy at reception asked the chambermaid to check our rooms before giving the all clear. That was a first as they normally just trust you. I felt a little offended. We asked them to order a taxi and waited at the door for only a couple of minutes before the cab arrived.
