Our Palace

I wasn't sure anything would beat Belgrade but this was definitely one step up. They weren't as friendly at reception but they did offer to carry all our bags. But it was in the room that we got a taste of luxury. With all the pillars and pristine furniture tastefully decorated with the hotel's motif of a leaf or something like that, it was stunning. This is a palace. The room feels like it's bigger than my house with a living room, kitchen/desk area, entrance hall, bedroom, bathroom (with double sink) and separate toilet and shower room. This is extravagant. It's probably over the top. But this trip was always about the hotels as much as the destinations.
