Half a walk

There was one major sight in Belgrade we  hadn't yet reached, which was the main cathedral. Unfortunately it was situated far away from everything else about 30 minutes walk south of the hotel. In any case we began the walk and were told we could see the cathedral from a distance as we approached and we surely could. I was told construction on the building began 200 years ago but they still haven't finished the interior. I think when I asked in the hotel for directions they thought I wanted to go for religious reasons. Well it is Sunday after all. We didn't quite make it there, perhaps not even halfway before we felt the need to return to the hotel and prepare for the bus. To be honest I'm not sure I had the energy even if we had the time.
