Like father like daughter
We'd already bought our tickets yesterday to remove any stress this morning, which had been a good thing given the queues and complications we'd had. My original plan had been to walk back to the station, to avoid Romanian taxis but I decided to trust the hotel in choosing something safe and avoid a tiring walk with our bags back to the station. Our cab arrives on time and Katarina catches sight of our thumbs as we weave through the traffic. Kinda weird symmetry, or maybe it was just practical. I was pleasantly surprised by the taxi and we were charged only 5 RON which is about 80p so I give him 10 RON instead. I couldn't pay someone 80p for a taxi ride, even £1.60 seemed outrageous.
