The Grand Tour
I can't give you photos inside because I didn't buy the option. It was only about £5 but I felt it might be an opportunity to force myself to look with my own eyes without a camera. And it was as stunning inside as outside. There are about 160 rooms and many of them of decorated in individual styles such as ornate German, Rococo, rich Italian reminiscent of the Vatican and even English. No expense was spared by the first Romanian royal family who lives here in the 19th century and spent decades building this place. They even had central heating and fully plumbed bathrooms. Despite our eventful day so far we find the energy to appreciate the extraordinary building. Outside we notice three or more wedding couples having their photographs taken.
