Walk to Epoque

Another reason for not getting a cab is to avoid the usual risks and we saw plenty touting for business outside the airport and the train station. They're like drug pushers. And I've heard plenty of stories about Romanian taxi drivers. The walk was listed as 20 minutes on Google maps and it wasn't far off that. The temperature was a couple of degrees less than Sofia and lot less than Belgrade so walking was very possible. Katarina was fine with her backpack. And it was pretty flat as well. The walk from the train station is always colourful and this walk was no less. Apart from old men begging, broken pavements and toppled bins, there was some very interesting graffiti.
