Otepeni airport

Sofia's main airport, Otepeni, is small and we had a short wait before they opened our check-in desk. Security was then very quick and within a few minutes we were in the shops. At first we thought the prices were ridiculously cheap until we bought some water and then discovered all the prices were in Euro. Why? This is not a Euro country. How odd. In any case I had loads of Bulgarian money left (as Sofia was well under budget) which they accepted at a poor exchange rate. The 45 minute wait for boarding then went quickly.
