Goodbye Epoque Hotel

So we complete our packing and say goodbye to the Epoque Hotel, our palace in Bucharest. I've always felt if you're going to travel to somewhere cheap then pay for luxury. I'm not sure we got all the benefits of staying here (free spa, pool and sauna in the basement, which we never saw) but the decor will certainly leave an impression. I couldn't help feel with our backpacks (and arriving soaked in sweat) we were a little out of place, but that's sort of how I like it - I wouldn't want this to feel normal - it isn't normal.
